Some ideas to discover Marseille

 

Getting there…. Leaving from Quai des Belges:

- Petit train: Every day, every 30 minutes 10am – 12:30pm and 2pm – 6pm Price: 5 euros

Suggested Tours :

      -          Notre Dame de la Garde
-          Le « Vieux Marseille » (Old Marseille)

- Bus Impérial Découverte : Tour lasting 1hr 30min for 16 Euros
     You can hop off the bus at any of the 16 stops if something grabs your interest, then rejoin the tour later.

- Citypass : (buy these from the Tourist Office for 16 euros for a day pass, or 23 euros for a two-day pass)

 Unrestricted use of the subway, bus and tramways, plus free entry into a number of museums.
       Savings on the « Marseille Grand Tour » and the Bus Imperial above.

Museums : open from 10am to 5pm; closed Mondays. Admission : 2 Euros

From Parc Chanot, you can take Bus 20, then Bus 21 to the small port of Callelongue. Walk through Goudes and after a 90 minute walk you will arrive at the Bay des Singes, where you will find the Museum.
